Olivenza

Today I'm taking you to Olivenza, a small town near Portugal, a town that actually belonged to Portugal and became Spanish in 1801. The most of my hubby's family live there. This place is a mix of narrow streets and white houses, charming architecture and a beautiful countryside scenery full of flowers and olive trees. As someone who grew up in a big city and now live in even bigger one, I really appreciate a difference and peace that small towns can offer. So let me take you to this one :)

Hoy os llevo a Olivenza, un pueblo al lado de Portugal, el pueblo que incluso era portugués hasta el año 1801. cuando perteneció a España. La mayoría de familia de mi marido vive ahí. Este sitio es una mezcla de calles pequeñitas y casas blancas, una arcitectura con mucho encanto y precioso paisaje lleno de flores y olivos. Como yo crecí en una ciudad grande y ahora vivo en otra aún más grande, me atraen mucho los pueblos, la diferencia y paz que ofrecen. Aquí tenéis uno :)

Danas vas vodim u Olivensu, gradić u blizini Portugala, gradić koji je zapravo pripadao Portugalu sve do 1801. kada je prisvojen Španiji. Većina familije mog muža živi tamo. Ovo mesto je jedna savršena mešavina uzanih uličica, belih kuća, divne arhitekture i idiličnih predela punih cveća i maslinjaka. Kao neko ko je odrastao u velikom gradu i sada živi u još većem, zaista istinski uživam kada osetim tu razliku i mir koje mala mesta pružaju. Sada vas vodim u jedno takvo :)
