Seville

ENG
Seville in August? History repeats itself, I thought. When I visited it six years ago there were more than 40 C and my friend and I ended up in nearest Starbucks in order to survive. Such a pity in a city like that. This time I had to risk since Seville, the capital of Andalucia, was the nearest stop to the upcoming events. And you know what? The weather was perfect so I was lucky this time and I even managed to feel chilly in my little white dress which was supposed to protect me from the heat. It was a quick stop of only day and half but enough to visit its essence, the old city center and Alcazar, the first royal residence in Europe which preserved its look since the 16th century. As someone who's really into Hispanistics, in professional and every other way, Seville is just like a little cultural paradise for me. Spanish golden age blends perfectly with old Moorish details. Sometimes you can find yourself in "deep" Spain or in a place from One Thousand and One Nights. I really recommend visiting this city with 3000 hours of sun per year. But trust me, you want to go in spring or autumn. Just in case ;)

I znate šta?

Pusam
