Mallorca - Cala Pi

There must be an envious little genie who lives inside our cameras and who stole some of our photos because both Ulises and I remember that we took them and they're gone. Or maybe we were hypnotized by the beauty that we saw. I have no idea what happened. Oh, well. I still managed to show you some of the photos that we took at this beach that has been in my mind since we visited it 3 years ago, its majesty - Cala Pi. For some reason it's my favorite. Although when I saw others, they also became my favorites. When I see that water, those colors... what can I tell you? Is there a word for this? Well, this is just the first one. By the way, you'll see that beaches on Mallorca and other Balearic islands are called cala. It's this type of narrow, almost hidden beach situated between rocks. The word pi means pine in Catalan, so there you go, the beach of pines. There is even a pine that felt down into the water and only made this place looking even more exotic...

Seguramente hay un fantasma que vive en nuestras cámaras y que nos robó unas fotos porque tanto Ulises como yo recordamos que hicimos esas fotos y ahora no están. O quizá nos quedamos hipnótisados por la belleza que vimos. Ni idea. Pero bueno, a pesar de eso he conseguido juntar unas cuantas fotos que hicimos en Cala Pi, mi cala preferida en Mallorca y que llevo en el corazón desde que la visitamos hace 3 años. He dicho que es mi favorita pero la verdad es que cada vez que veo una cala, enseguida se convierte en mi favorita. Es que cuando veo ese agua, esos colores... ¿Qué os puedo decir? Hay alguna palabra que lo describe como se merece? Creo que no. Y para que todo parecza más exótico, hay inlcuso un pino que se cayó en el agua y así demuestra la razón por el que esta cala debe su nombre a los pinos que la rodean...

Mislim da u našim fotoaparatima živi jedan mali zli duh koji je ukrao neke od slika. I Ulises, i ja se sećamo tih slika, ali ne vredi, nestale su. Ili nas je možda hipnotisala sva ta lepota na koju smo naišli. Ne znam. Ali dobro. Ipak sam uspela da sakupim materijal za ovaj post i pokažem vam moju omiljenu plažu na Majorci - njeno veličanstvo - Cala Pi. Ostala mi je u sećanju nalik nekom snu otkad smo je posetili prvi put pre 3 godine. Iako mi je omiljena, moram priznati da to pomislim za svaku koju ugledam. Kada vidite tu vodu, te boje... Šta da vam kažem? Postoji li reč koja zaista može sve to da opiše? A ovo je samo početak, biće ih još nekoliko. Inače, videćete da skoro svaka plaža, kako na Majorci, tako i na ostalim Balearskim ostrvima, nosi naziv cala. To je zapravo nešto kao plaža manje veličine, zavučena i smeštena između stena. Reč pi znači bor na katalanskom, tako da je ovo zapravo plaža borova, a u to ime se čak i srušio jedan bor u more i ceo pejzaž učinio još egzotičnijim...
