Valderrobres

So, it was my nephew-in-law's 3rd birthday and he was the main reason of this little road trip (although I don't really need a reason to go anywhere :p). You saw Tarragona in the previous post (HERE) and today I'll show you something very different, a village called Valdrerrobres - meaning the Valley of Oaks, probably the point of Spain that for me has been the most difficult to arrive at. I won't tell you how we almost got lost in the middle of the night, in the middle of nowhere haha, well the truth is that GPS sometimes likes the hardest way. Anyway, this village is considered as one of the most beautiful villages in Spain, although let me tell you something, there's no such a thing as a Spanish village that's not considered as the most beautiful one! :D Its medieval alleys and castle in the heart of Valdrerrobres certainly explain its beauty and charm.

Hace unas semanas mi sobrino político cumplia 3 añitos y ese fue el motivo por esta escapada que hicimos (aunque en realidad no necesito excusas para ir a cualquier sitio jeje). En el último post os enseñé Tarragona (AQUÍ)y ahora toca algo muy diferente, un pueblo llamado Valderrobres, seguramente el lugar que más nos costó encontrar. No os voy a contar que casi nos perdimos por la noche sin saber donde estábamos jaja, pero la verdad es que de vez en cuando, al GPS le gusta elegir el camino más dificil. De todas formas, este pueblo está considerado como uno de los más bonitos de España, aunque os tengo que decir algo, una de las primeras cosas que aprendí desde que vivo aquí, en España, es que para cada pueblo dicen que es el más bonito! :D Su castillo y callejitas medievales sin duda explican su belleza y encanto.

Treći rođendan našeg sestrića je bio glavni razlog ovog malog vikend putovanja (ako mi je uopšte ikada potreban razlog da se uputim bilo kuda :p). U prošlom postu ste videli Taragonu (OVDE) a danas vas čeka nešto potpuno drugačije, malo mesto Valderobres, čije ime znači Dolina Hrastova. Mislim da je to mesto u Španiji koje je iz mog iskustva bilo najteže za pronalaženje. Neću da vam pričam kako smo se skoro izgubili u sred noći, u divljini haha, ali zapravo, GPS jednostavno nekada voli da ide putem kojim se ređe ide. Valderobres se smatra za jedno od najlepših sela u Španiji, ali da vam kažem nešto, ne postoji špansko selo za koje se ne kaže da je najlepše! :D Srednjevekovne uličice i zamak u srcu Valderobresa svakako objašnjavaju negovu lepotu i šarm.
