Happy Birthday to Me! + Ibiza #7: The legends of Es Vedra

First of all, today is my birthday and I'm super excited! :D Although this day is reserved for some special moments I'm glad to be doing this post today, since the photos are one of my favorites ever, the place is full of mystery and magic and of course, I can't leave my blog on my special day! :) I'm still in Belgrade with my family and you'll also see some photos from my days here very soon, but at the moment, I still have material from last weeks. 

The small island you can see behind me is called Es Vedra, and it's one of the special places on the Earth that has a specific magnetism, and is actually one of the three most magnetic spots in the world causing compasses to spin out of control and watch out, to attract UFO! There are numerous legends related to this huge rock and I'm going to mention some of them:

1. The Goddess Tanit lived there

2. It was Hanibal's birthplace

3. A witch lives in one of the caves and you must live some personal item on the entrance to bring you good luck

4. It's the place where the sea nymphs tried to confuse Ulysses from his ship

5. It might be the rest from sunken Atlantis

6. The part of Es Vedra was used to build the Pyramids in Egypt

7. It is generally considered as a place with positive, healing, creative and inspiring energy.

Hoy es mi cumpeaños y estoy muy emocionada! :D Este día está reservado para momentos especiales, pero tenía que publicar este post hoy porque mi blog ya es muy importante, y además, las fotos de hoy son unas de mis favoritas, y el sitio es muy especial y mágico! Todavía sigo en Belgrado con mi famila y pronto os enseñaré algunas fotos de mis días aquí, pero de momento sigo con las fotos de las semanas pasadas.

La pequeña isla que podéis ver se llama Es Vedra y es uno de los sitios más interesantes en la Tierra gracias a su magnetismo especial que hace que brújulas dejen de funcionar, y como no, ese fenómeno atrae a los ovnis! Existen numerosas leyendas relacionados con esta roca enorme y yo voy a mencionar algunas de ellas:

1. La diosa Tanit vivía ahí

2. Hanibal nació en esta isla

3. Dice la leyenda que en una de las cuevas vive una bruja, y cualquiera que visita la cueva, tiene que dejar un objeto personal en la entrada para atraer la buena suerte

4. En este lugar las ninfas del mar confundieron a Ulises de la Odisea

5. Es el resto de la antigua Atlántida 

6. Una parte de Es Vedra se utilizó para construir las pirámides en Egipto

7. En general se considera como un sitio con mucha energía postiva, creativa e inspiradora.

Pre svega moram da kažem da mi je danas rođendan i jako sam uzbuđena! :D Iako je ovaj dan rezervisan za neke posebne trenutke, ipak nisam mogla da odolim a da ne objavim post na današnji dan, a čak su i slike koje ćete videti jedne od mojih omiljenih, a mesto je misteriozno i magično. Još uvek sam u Beogradu pa uskoro nameravam da objavim i neke slike odavde, ali prvo bih završila sa slikama iz proteklog perioda.

Malo ostrvo koje se vidi iza mene na prvoj slici se zove Es Vedra i jedno je od veoma posebnih i specifičnih mesta na Zemlji, zapravo jedno je od 3 mesta na svetu koje imaju poseban magnetizam koji uzrokuje poremećen rad kompasa i radara, a gde je misterija tu je i NLO koji je, kažu, bio viđen na ovom mestu i to više puta! Ali to nije sve jer postoje brojne legende o ovoj velikoj steni:

1. Boginja Tanit je živela tamo

2. Baš tu se rodio Hanibal

3. U jednoj od pećina živi veštica, pa na ulazu treba ostaviti neki lični predmet kako biste obezbedili dobru sreću

4. To je mesto na kojem su morske nimfe začarale Odiseja

5. Smatra se da može biti ostatak Atlantide

6. Deo ostrva je iskorišćen za izgradnju egipatskih piramida

7. Generalno se smatra za mesto sa pozitivnom, kreativnom, lekovitom i inspirativnom energijom.
