Ibiza #1: Café del Mar

I'm finally here with my first post from Ibiza and there are still more to come! I'll try to be a kind of your touristic guide as my outfits are what matter less in this beautiful place ;) Our flight was in the afternoon and as Ibiza is so near Alicante it lasted only 19 minutes! I think it was the shortest flight I ever took! We arrived and I could already feel that special and unique atmosphere mixed with the scent of pines, so typical for this island which makes you fall in love with it since the moment you see it from the airplane window, or ship, or ferry... :D It was too late to go to some of the beaches so we decided to go to the famous Café del Mar and my longtime wish came true! It's basically a bar on the beach, founded in 1980 with simple concept: to put music for the sunsets. The place went more and more popular over the years, nowadays is one of the most famous spots in Ibiza, and it's compilation of chill out music is the most popular ever, and that's how a modest bar turned out to be a global brand. Now imagine the feeling, you walk along the coast and finally see Café del Mar, along with other bars, you hear the famous relaxing but powerful tunes, everything is full of people from all over the world, inside and outside on the coast, while sun paints the sky, the music is loud, you feel the energy, everything is so beautiful, so positive, the experience transforms you somehow, and then, finally, just when the sun comes down everybody is applauding! And how not to applaud while you experience that energy and one of the most beautiful sunsets in the world! Isn't it just great to appreciate something that simple but so magical as sunset? It was such a perfect night and a promising beginning of my Ibiza experience. Oh, and the dress I'm wearing was a gift from Fiigirl, it came just the day before my vacations, so I put it immediately in my suitcase. It's just perfect, I love red dresses and this one is simple yet beautiful, perfect for special summer nights and I can't recommend it enough! :)

Por fin estoy aquí con mi primer post de Ibiza y aun me quedan muchos más! Intentaré ser vuestro guia también porque la ropa que llevo no es lo más importante en esta isla preciosa ;) Nuestro vuelo fue por la tarde y como Ibiza está tan cerca de Alicante, duró sólo 19 minutos! Creo que es el vuelo más corto que he tenido! Llegamos a la isla y enseguida pude sentir ese ambiente tan especial y único de Ibiza, mezclado con el fuerte aroma de pinos, tan típico de esta isla que enamora desde el primer momento, en mi caso, desde que la vi por la ventanilla del avión! Era un poco tarde para ir a la playa así que fuimos al famoso Café de Mar y así se cumplió mi gran deseo! Es basicamente un bar en la playa, inaugurado en 1980 con un concepto simple: hacer música para las puestas del sol. El sitio se hizo más y más popular durante años, ahora es uno de los símbolos de Ibiza, y su compilación de la música chill out es la más famosa del mundo! Ahora, imaginad la sensación: estáis pasendo por la costa y de repente está ahí, el famoso bar junto con los demás, ya podéis escuchar las famosas melodías, tan relajantes pero poderosas al mismo tiempo, todo está lleno de gente de diferentes paises, por dentro y por fuera en la costa, el sol está pintanto el cielo, la música es cada vez más alta, podéis sentir tanta energía, todo es precioso, tan positivo, la experiencia os transforma si os dejáis llevar, y entonces, el sol se pone y justo en ese momento todo el mundo empieza a aplaudir! Y como no aplaudir rodeado de esa energía y disfrutando de una de las más bonitas puestas del sol! Me encanta como la gente aprecia algo tan simple, pero tan mágico al mismo tiempo, como una puesta del sol! La tarde fue perfecta y prometedora! Ah, y el vestido que llevo es un regalo de Fiigirl y llegó justo un día antes de mis vacaciones y enseguida lo metí en la maleta. Es perfecto, me encantan los vestidos rojos y este es simple pero muy bonito, ideal para noches de verano! :)

Evo ga konačno prvi post sa Ibice, a od sada pa nadalje očekujte i ostale. Pokušaću da budem i vaš turistički vodič jer je odeća koju sam nosila na ovom prelepom ostrvu negde najmanje bitna ;)Naš let je bio kasno popodne i kako je Ibica jako blizu Alikantea, trajao je čitavih 19 minuta! Mislim da je to najkraći let koji sam imala! Stigli smo i od prvog momenta sam osetila tu posebnu, jedinstvenu atmosferu tipičnu za Ibicu, pomešanu sa snažnom aromom četinara na svakom koraku. Jednostavno se zaljubite u ovo ostvro od prvog momenta, u mom slučaju, već prilikom pogleda kroz prozor aviona :) Bilo je kasno za odlazak na neku od plaža tako da smo otišli u čuveni Café del Mar i tako se ostvarila moja dugogodišnja želja! Café del Mar je u suštini bar na plaži, osnovan 1980. godine sa jednim ciljem: da stvara muziku za zalaske sunca. Ovaj bar je tokom godina postajao sve popularniji, a danas je jedan od simbola Ibice, a njegova svetski poznata kompilacija chill out muzike ga je učinila najvećim brendom u toj oblasti. Sada zamislite osećaj, šetate duž morske obale i odjednom ugledate čuveni Café del Mar, zajedno sa ostalim barovima na obali, čujete poznate opuštajuće ali moćne melodije, sve je prepuno ljudi iz celog sveta, što unutar bara, što na obali, sunce šara nebo, muzika je sve glasnija, osećate neverovatnu energiju, sve je predivno, tako pozitivno, ovo iskustvo vas promeni istog trenutka, i onda, u trenutku kada sunce zađe iza horizonta, svi počinju da aplaudiraju! A kako ne aplaudirati kad osetite toliki priliv energije dok uživate u jednom od najlepših zalazaka sunca! Zar nije divno kako se tamo u tom trenutku ceni nešto tako jednostavno, a opet tako magično kao što je zalazak sunca? Veče je bilo savršeno i moj odmor na Ibici je već delovao obećavajuće. I da ne zaboravim, haljina koju nosim je poklon marke Fiigirl, stigla je baš na dan pre putovanja tako da sam je odmah stavila u kofer. Savršena je, obožavam crvene haljine a ova je tako jednostavna a divna, idealna za posebne letnje večeri kao što je bila ova :)
