Our Serbian road trip with the family led us 200 km from Belgrade to Mokra Gora, a famous touristic destination in southwestern Serbia. Beautiful landscapes full of green nature and golden summer light took us to Drvengrad, meaning "wooden city" (also called Kustendorf), an ethno village built by famous Serbian film director Emir Kusturica. It's a picturesque little place with traditional wooden houses, charming shops and restaurants where each house, square and street is dedicated to some famous person, from Maradona, Fellini to Novak Djokovic. It's also known for its Film and Music Festival. Speaking about famous people, we even manage to see in person, José Mujica, the former president of Uruguay, famous for his extremly modest lifestyle. A perfect day with the family ended up in a little cottage, cozy and cute, colorful and charming, old but modern. If you're in Serbia, I truly recommend this place for a little getaway.

Stvarno izgleda carobno i odusevila sam se vec na Ig kada sam vidjela fotkicu u sobi... stvarno je predivno... lokacija je carobna i podsjeca me na Alpe i taj planinski krajolik koji me ostavlja bez daha. :)
Stiže i ostatak uskoro :) :***

Yeah, that was really a surprise, especially because the place is so small and you don't expect to see someone that famous :D Yes, it's really beautiful and relaxing, I truly enjoyed it :) Thanks from both of us, dear :)
ReplyDeleteAww, baš ti hvala na divnom komplimentu i rečima :) Takođe ti želim divan mesec! <3
DeleteNice dress dear and the scenery is so lovely

I'm glad you like them both :)

DeleteI have heard about Drvengrad (btw it means the same in Bulgarian) and I really would love to visit it one day, which is not an impossible mission, since it's close to my country. How lucky you were to see the former president of Uruguay! I am sure you had a great time there!
ReplyDeleteBtw, I am in love with Djokovic :D
